Start New Business With a Business Plan

Изображение
How to Write a Business Plan Planning a business and writing a business plan is more than just having a location picked and a product or service to sell. Financing, marketing strategy and future growth all require a well-researched and thought out business plan. There are many articles and resources available on the Internet explaining how to write a business plan, but writing a business plan is more than merely following a business plan template or copying someone’s business plan examples. A business plan can be as simple as a few notes scrawled on a paper napkin, or it can be a 40-page document with multiple sections and subsections describing every minute detail of a company’s operations, products and finances. Writing an effective business plan is easier if you take time before starting the writing process to conduct your research and gather the information you will need to incorporate into it. Business owners of new startups or established companies can benefit f...

44 Tools To Publish Student Work

Изображение
Publishing Student Work vs Assessment In lieu of its perceived art and science, assessment is a murky practice . Anything a student “does” can be used as a kind of assessment. What the say, write, draw, diagram, create, or otherwise manifest that is then shared with someone else is evidence of thinking. This can be taken as a snapshot–create a video that clarifies the cause-effect relationship of pollution and the water cycle–or something more project-based and done over time, such as a storyboarding, creating, drawing, and publishing a comic book character over a 8 part series that explores the issue of bullying over social media. Either way, because the work is mobile and digital and easily shared, its ripe for both assessment and sharing with authentic audiences in the real world. When students publish their thinking with their right audience or collaborators at the right time, the tone and purpose of the work are able to shift dramatically. The following tools e...

A Twitter spokesperson confirmed to Mashable the character limit would be changing sometime in July but declined to provide more specific timing. The character limit for regular tweets, which is also 140, will remain in place. Tweets will continue to be the 140 characters they are today." The move is the latest in a series of major changes the company has made to direct messages over the past year. Twitter introduced group messaging features into the service in January . The network also added an option that allows users to opt-in to receive p...

What are the major differences between 3G & 4G internet?

Изображение
As you would expect, 4G is the fourth generation of mobile internet technology. Putting aside arguments that the 4G we have today is not ‘real’ 4G, it is still an upgrade on 3G for a number of reasons. Speed The biggest upgrade is speed. 4G users will generally notice much faster internet speeds on 4G than on 3G – however, the speeds experienced will vary greatly according to the location of the user, the user’s carrier, and the device the user is connecting with. When experiencing 4G speeds, the user will have faster web browsing, faster uploads and downloads, less buffering on video, better sound quality, reduced lag when streaming, and better online gaming. Latency One reason 4G users can achieve higher connection speeds is the improved latency on 4G. Latency describes the time it takes for data to travel from a device or laptop to the internet and back again. 4G latency is around half that of 3G, which makes 4G connections seem much faster. This is ideal for frequen...

Mobile service revenue was down 1.7 per cent at £1.3 billion, although Jefferies analysts noted that this was an improvement on Q4 2014, when mobile revenue fell by 2.1 per cent. The company gained 1.7 million 4G subscribers in the first quarter to reach 9.3 million overall. "As much of the UK market now has smartphones, we are leading the charge into new growth areas by cross-selling our innovative range of connected products including 4G tablets, 4G Wi-Fi, fixed broadband and EETV to our existing customers," ...
