The software company announced that Telefónica Germany is deploying an updated version of its revenue management product that will simplify and accelerate the rating and billing processes for the operator's B2B operations. In a statement, Netcracker explained that the deal builds on a longstanding relationship with Telefónica Germany and that the renewal of its core services contract will enable the operator to continually optimise the performance of the revenue management set-up. Netcracker product information explains that its revenue management product is based on a single, converged, platform and can assist operators in accessing new revenue streams by monetising LTE, VoLTE, cloud-based and virtualisation services. The upgraded product runs across Telefónica Germany's hardware and databases, which Netcracker stated enables the operator to significantly improve the delivery of its B2B services and, in turn, improve the customer experience.

Mobile ad spending in the U.S. passed a major milestone in 2015 by exceeding desktop for the first time. Propelled by rising ad spend globally, mobile grabbed a majority share (51.9%) of all digital ad spending last year. Other regions are poised to follow suit. This was stated in Smaato’s Global Trends in Mobile Advertising Report - Q4 2015. There’s no doubt that 2015 was a significant year for mobile advertising. In the world’s largest ad market, smartphone penetration grew from 78% of U.S. mobile subscribers at the beginning of 2015 to over 80% going into Q4 2015. Bugatti unveiled a new high-performance supercar at the Geneva Motor Show on Monday. The French car maker currently produces only four models -- all variations of the famed Bugatti Veyron. The Veyron was introduced in 2005 and the "Veyron 16.4 Super Sport" was named the world's fastest production car by the Guiness Book of World Records in 2013. But the Veyron era is about to end. Bugatti says that the new generation, the Chiron, will be a "completely new development." According to the car maker, it'll be faster, more powerful and even more expensive, with a base price of €2.4 million ($2.6 million). "It is part of human nature to cross boundaries and set new records," Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S. President Wolfgang Dürheimer said in a statement. "This striving is also our driving force at Bugatti.
